Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Import Sub-Accounts to Workspace

  1. Go to your buildassistants.app workspace
  2. Click Import Installed to fetch all sub-accounts linked to your GoHighLevel connection
  3. Choose to:
    • Select specific sub-accounts to import
    • Select all to import all sub-accounts
⚠️ Plan Limit Warning: If you are on a limited plan (e.g., 3 sub-accounts), avoid importing more than your limit — archive extras as needed
  1. In your workspace, click Custom Menu Link
  2. Copy the unique URL generated for your agency and workspace
  3. This link allows the AI Portal to be displayed in each sub-account
  1. In GoHighLevel, switch to Agency View
  2. Navigate to: Settings > Custom Menu
  3. Click Create (if one isn’t already there)
  4. Paste the exact custom menu link (leave variables untouched — system auto-configures per sub-account)
  5. Keep it as an iframe
  6. Name it (e.g., “AI Portal”, “AI Builder” — your choice)
  7. Set visibility:
    • Do not show on Agency Sidebar
    • Do show on all sub-accounts or select specific ones
    • Use role-based visibility if needed
  • Enable microphone access for the AI Portal
  • This allows testing of voice agents via the embedded Voice Lab
  • Skipping this may cause errors during voice tests

5. Save and Confirm Setup

  1. Click Save
  2. Navigate to any sub-account
  3. Scroll to the sidebar — you should see the new AI Portal menu item
  4. Click it to verify it opens your portal for that sub-account
  5. New sub-accounts will:
    • Auto-create in your workspace
    • Sync via OAuth
    • Display the AI Portal per location
